The Center provides a unique and varied portfolio of services and support to an underserved and very needy population. We are the only licensed agency in New Jersey to provide housing and treatment for both adolescents and adult women who are pregnant and addicted to drugs and alcohol, and who want to carry their babies to term Our staff is CADC certified and hold Master’s Degrees in counseling.

The Center’s approach to treatment is highly individualized and addresses the many problems and issues that have contributed to the breakdown of the family. Combined with the staff’s deep commitment and caring for each woman at the Center, our unique and comprehensive approach includes prenatal care, addiction recovery, spiritual and life skills development, intensive case management, counseling (individual, group and family) and discharge planning.

An important component of becoming a strong and self-reliant person is discovering and nurturing each resident’s own spirituality. While not based on any one religion, a strong spiritual component is at the heart of the program. It is based on the belief that no one, particularly someone suffering from substance abuse, is likely to maintain change without being connected to something greater than themselves.
